Meaghan Fitzpatrick, OTS

Meaghan in her final semester of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the University of Florida. She is presenting at ASHT Conference as part of her capstone project titled, “The effects of soft-tissue mobilization and exercise on the upper extremity pathomechanics in an elite college tennis player: a case study.” Her project is a comprehensive case study in which she explored the timing and techniques of applying myofascial trigger point release to reduce pain and optimize functional movement. Meaghan’s career interests lie in upper extremity rehabilitation, whether orthopedic or neurological in nature. In her spare time, Meaghan enjoys exercising, hiking, paddle boarding, and relaxing on the beach.
