Ann Lucado PT, PhD, CHT is an Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Department at Mercer University, College of Health Professions located in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been practicing 29 years, most of that specializing in upper extremity and orthopedic rehabilitation. In addition to teaching, she treats patients with a variety of upper extremity disorders in the Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic. She is an active member of both the American Society of Hand Therapists and American Physical Therapy Association and conducts clinical research. She is currently serving APTA Academy of Hand and Upper Extremity as Research Chair and Clinical Practice Guideline coordinator.
