Alessia DiGennaro, OTR/L, CHT

Alessia graduated from Quinnipiac University and began her career as an occupational therapist working in adult rehabilitation. In 2001 she decided to pursue a career in her true passion, hand therapy. She became a CHT in 2005. Currently she practices in an outpatient hand therapy facility in Southern California, alongside Dr. David Hay with the Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Institute. Alessia is actively involved in ASHT’s Education Division. As a member of the division, she chairs the Upper Extremity Institute, assists in the Student Offerings committee, and chairs ASHT’s Hand Therapy Review Course in Irvine, CA. She has served as an invited lecturer at both ASHT’s Hand Therapy Review Course, Irvine and Hands-On-Orthotics. She currently serves as the President of the Hand Therapy Society of Greater Orange County in Southern California.
